Maus: tom just asked if i want to configure my mac to join in his mirc chats with his mates
Maus: i said "i think my irc days are over"
Maus: I've had enough of random cybering with strangers
Maus: it's slightly less random cybering with msn-ers for me from now on!

Peter: i never really chatted with strangers except pestering girls on friendster
Peter: except when i first found the internet and tried to talk dirty to folk on yahoo chat
Peter: i had a two hour dirty chat with a lovely girl who turned out to be a 43 year old welder from scunthorpe

Peter: so i stopped that type of thing after that
Peter: he taunted me at the end

Peter: so i stay away from chat and stuff now
Peter: although i do like msn
Maus: it gets boring/seedy after a certain point
Peter: well depends on what you're in it for
Peter: if you're doing it for sexing it will get seedy and you'll get miserable

Peter: if you have an obscure obsession or odd hobby and you find folk with them online then im sure chatting for hours can never get boring
Maus: haha right
Peter: but i don't really have any obscure hobbies

Maus: i met this guy on the internet once
Maus: kept messaging me and sending me hugs and kisses
Maus: one day he said "i've got a crush on you"
Maus: he was a bit strange to be honest
Peter: you should have said
Peter: "ah ha, im a man"
Maus: so i posted my picture on the channel
Maus: then i didn't hear from him for quite a while
Maus: next thing he said to me was "i don't have a crush on you anymore!"
Maus: i was, ironically, crushed.
